How to Use
IL Villaggio Mozzarella can be served as antipasto alongside fried vegetables or in an insalata caprese, with slices of very ripe tomato, a leaf or two of basIL and a few drops of extra virgin olive oil. Offer it with cantaloupe or figs for dessert. Pizzas and calzones benefit from its wonderful elasticity. Cubes of mozzarella can be tossed with hot pasta. Layer it into baked lasagna or ziti and casseroles like chicken or eggplant parmigiana. Use a slice to top a breaded chicken cutlet or veal scallopini.
