How to Use

This ancient, iconic cheese is carefully matured for 18 months. Different degrees of aging bring out varying aromatic and flavor profiles. 18-month Parmigiano Reggiano DOP is especially versatile in the kitchen, with more milky, buttery notes than longer aged versions, and plenty of umami. It has harmonious, delicate flavors with notes of tangy yogurt, nuts, and dried fruit. This cheese shines in green salads, on cheese boards with sparkling white wine, and paired with melon and rich balsamic.
