Speck

IL Villaggio premium Speck Alto Adige PGI (Protected Geographical Indication) is made with a time-honored recipe—pork legs are seasoned with a proprietary spice blend, cold-smoked over beechwood, and dry-cured in the crisp air of the Vinschgau Valley. The result is a versatile, silky meat with a delicate, aromatic, and unmistakable flavor.

Often called “smoked prosciutto,” this Speck is crafted in a facility nestled between the glaciers of Ortles and Palla Bianca by a family who has been making fine cured meats for three generations. It’s well-marbled with a deep reddish-pink interior and thin perimeter of smoked spices.
