Fall Charcuterie Cups
Cups of IL Villaggio Parmigiano Reggiano DOP and IL Villaggio Ciliegine Mozzarella, figs, red grapes breadsticks, and sliced acorn squash to celebrate the arrival of fall and the harvest. Nice with a crisp cider or a new red.

Ingredients (Serves 6)

  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 8 oz IL Villaggio Parmigiano Reggiano DOP
  • 6 IL Villaggio Ciligine Mozzarella
  • 6 slices salami
  • 6 fresh figs, halved
  • 1 cup red grapes
  • 12 Italian breadsticks
  • Sliced acorn squash
  • Fresh sage

Equipment

  • 6-6 oz jars
  • 12 wooden skewers or toothpicks
  • Twine or ribbon

Instructions

Divide honey evenly into the bottom of each jar. Skewer salami and IL Villaggio Ciligine mozzarella onto wooden toothpicks and place into the jar. Skewer fig and grapes on a second toothpick and add to jar next to the salami. Place a breadstick and slice of IL Villaggio Parmigiano Reggiano in each jar then add sliced squash and tie fresh sage around the jar with twine for color and garnish.
