Gnocchi Skillet
Luxuriously creamy and super simple thanks to IL Villaggio Twist & Grate Grana Padano DOP, this is both a perfect weeknight meal and elegant enough to serve guests.

Ingredients (Serves 4)

  • 4 Tbsp butter
  • 1 package (16oz) gnocchi
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tsp dried Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup vegetable broth (or chicken stock)
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups spinach leaves
  • 1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup IL Villaggio Twist and Grate Grana Padano DOP, plus more for serving

Instructions

Cook gnocchi according to package instructions in boiling water. Remove and drain on a plate with paper towels.

In a large skillet melt butter over medium-high heat. Add gnocchi and cook 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown. Add garlic clove and Italian seasoning; cook 1 minute longer. Stir in vegetable broth and heavy cream, then add spinach and sun-dried tomatoes.

Reduce heat to low and stir in IL Villaggio Grana Padano cheese. Season with salt and pepper, to taste. Serve immediately with more IL Villaggio Grana Padano cheese, as desired.
