Bocconcini Mozzarella Pizza Bombs
These are ravioli sized calzones stuffed with IL Villaggio Bocconcini Mozzarella. Served with a side of marinara sauce, they are perfect snacks for tiny hands on game day or movie night.

Ingredients (Serves 4-6)

  • 3 Tbsp butter
  • 1 prepared pizza dough
  • 8oz IL Villaggio Bocconcini Mozzarella, cubed
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 Tbsp dried Italian seasoning
  • IL Villaggio Parmigiano Reggiano DOP, Shredded for topping
  • Marinara for serving

Instructions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Lay pizza dough on a floured surface and roll out to 10 inches. Cut into thirds lengthwise, and then into thirds again going through the width, creating 12 squares. Place a spoonful of marinara sauce onto the square and 1 IL Villaggio Bocconcini Mozzarella, cube.

Bring the edges up and over, pressing them together until completely sealed. Place the bomb on a foil-lined baking tray.

Combine melted butter, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a small bowl. Brush onto each bomb and sprinkle with IL Villaggio Parmigiano Reggiano cheese. Bake 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm with marinara for dipping.
